Courtney Frerichs is professional runner, a two-time Olympian and the Tokyo Olympics silver medalist in the 3000 meters steeplechase event. She is the American record holder as the fastest woman in the event.
She created this Hot Air Balloon Charm to represent the word that's been motivating her this season: Fly. In her own words: "To me, fly means having the confidence to go after scary goals even after setbacks. It’s allowing myself to dream and believe I can get where I want to go. The idea Fly is very much related to the steeplechase. I fell in love with the event from the second I tried it because hurdling and flying across the water pit felt so natural. When I’m in the zone I feel effortless and like I’m flying around the track."
